The London 2010 Affiliate Conference Convention http://www.londonaffiliateconference.com was an awesome experience from my point of view. New to the whole experience it was insanely fun wandering round London for the first time, there just wasn’t enough time. St Pauls cathedral was directly opposite the hotel, so every time we went to one of the events there was a landmark to take us home to the hotel, each gathering was in a different location and there was plenty to see. I managed to get some pictures from the London affiliate conference LAC 2010.

Google have opened up a whole new section of their site dedicated to articles and tips with plenty information about how to improve a websites speed at http://code.google.com/speed/

This means in the future I will be optimizing my websites for speed as well as the other optimisations.

The first of the ANETICO ® trademarks has finally come through. It took approximately 3 months from the application date to get accepted. After applying for a trademark an examination is carried out to ensure it meets the requirements. If the application is accepted the trademark then sits for two months on the trade marks journal website for opposition purposes. No one objected to my mark and as from the 17th of July 2009 the term “ANETICO” ® is now trademarked covering class number 35. A registered UK trade mark has to be renewed after 10 years so that gives me plenty of time to grow my business further.

This is just a quick short post with some update news. It appears as if there has been another update from google in the last couple of weeks as my first project site about poker www.playpokeruk.com now has a pr of 2.

The site is still underdeveloped so I am very happy about that, I will be updating the website again in a few days with another poker site review. The how to guide is building up slowly but so far I am happy and the site is ranking for its domain keywords.
